1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and FixMyImage ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the website at fixmyimage.app and all associated image processing utilities.

By accessing or using any part of FixMyImage, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the site and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of the Service & Client-Side Operation

FixMyImage provides web-based utilities designed to compress, resize, convert, and watermark digital image files. Our services operate on a purely client-side basis.

Your browser compiles and executes the algorithms locally using standard HTML5 Canvas, Web Workers, and WebAssembly. At no point are your image files uploaded to, processed on, or retained by our servers. All computational workload is performed by your device's browser and hardware.

3. User Ownership & Intellectual Property

The underlying FixMyImage platform, including its brand, website design, UI layout, logos, documentation, custom code, and software architecture, is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws and remains the exclusive property of FixMyImage.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use FixMyImage solely for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or hold valid licenses, permissions, and rights to modify, convert, compress, or watermark all files you input into the service.
• Your use does not infringe upon any third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or proprietary right.
• You will not attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or compromise the operational integrity of our web servers or client scripts.
• You will not use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots in a manner that degrades service performance for other users.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

FixMyImage is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that: (a) the website or its tools will function uninterrupted, secure, or bug-free; (b) image conversions or compressions will meet specific legal, institutional, or aesthetic requirements; or (c) that browser hardware acceleration will achieve specific processing speeds on every device.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall FixMyImage, its developers, operators, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, corruption of files, or device downtime resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of all original visual media before performing client-side operations.

7. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of FixMyImage at any time without notice or liability. We may update these Terms periodically to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. Continued use of the website following any posted modifications constitutes full acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising from or relating to your use of FixMyImage shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
